Subdistrict No. 6

Subdistrict No. 6 officially formed as a legal entity on October 4th, 2018.  The Subdistrict No. 6 Board of Managers completed the process of preparing the final Plan of Water Management and the Board of Directors of the District approved the Plan in the fall of 2019.  The Plan was then submitted to the State Engineer in September 2019 and issued approval of the Plan on September 25th, 2019. Please click below to view the State Engineer’s approval letter. The District Board held a hearing to adopt the Plan in November 2019 and the Board of Directors voted unanimously to adopt the Plan. No objections were received to either the State Engineer or District Board’s approvals and the Plan of Water Management is now final.

The the 2021 Annual Replacement Plan has been approved by the State Engineer. Subdistrict No. 6 began remedying injurious stream depletions on September 26th, 2021. The 2021 Annual Replacement Plan can be viewed here.

The Board of Managers has approved the 2024 Annual Replacement Plan and has submitted it to the State Engineer for review and approval.

The Board of Managers has approved a proposed 2023 Budget to be included in the District’s preliminary 2023 Budget. This budget is only proposed at this time and is subject to change if better information can be obtained in regards to the Subdistrict’s operational needs for 2023. The District will hold a Budget Hearing later this year to approve the final 2023 Budget. Notice will be published ahead of that meeting to include both the time and place the hearing will be held.
