White Property Recharge Site RFP Information

The Rio Grande Water Conservation District is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to construct a surface water recharge station consisting of several measurement structures, a settling pond, recharge pond and an additive alternate overflow area. Contact Taylor Chick at (719) 589-6301 for a bid packet. Information can be accessed online at www.rgwcd.org. Please include relevant qualifications and timeline for completing the project. Proposals must be received by 3:30 p.m. July 19, 2024 and may be submitted in person or by mail to 8805 Independence Way, Alamosa, CO, 81101, or by e-mail to Taylor@rgwcd.org.

Project Overview

Scope of Work: Construction of approximately 169 linear feet of main ditch, installation of (3) Parshall Flumes, relocation of a tee structure, building a settling pond, installing a 30-foot culvert, and creating a recharge pond, among other smaller tasks

Addidtive Alternates: Approximately 963 feet of overflow ditch and two sizes of overflow ponds are included as additive alternates.
